All the ingredients
- 300 g chickpeas
- 200 g beetroot
- 4-5 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- salt
- parsley
The preparation stages
- Pour some oil into a frying pan, and fry the sesame seeds until they turn golden brown, then remove the pan from the heat.
- Remove the seeds with a spoon, and allow them to cool so that they will become more tasty.
- Blend the garlic in a blender until it becomes a creamy paste. Add a little water if the paste is too dry.
- Add the beetroot, chickpeas, cumin powder, olive oil, salt, lemon juice and golden sesame seeds.
- Mix everything together until it becomes a creamy paste.
- Serve the hummus garnished with parsley and olive oil.
